The training will also include ultrasound skills in pre-pregnancy gynecologic evaluation to offer a more holistic approach to the care of these women.

The program would furnish fellows a comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of the complications of pregnancy, delivery and the puerperium. A basic gynecologic scan for the woman in the various stages of her reproductive life is also included. It is aimed at producing proficient specialists equipped with the advanced knowledge of obstetrical, medical, and surgical complications of pregnancy and their effects on the mother and fetus.
